В продолжение предыдущего поста о поющих инструменталистах. Еще один неизменный участник Genesis - клавишник Тони Бэнкс тоже сам пел на своих сольных альбомах в 1980-е. Получается у него, по моему, лучше, чем у Майка Разефрорда. Голос не сильный, но приятный. По крайне мере, когда я услышал как поет Бэнкс то подумал: "Вот так он и должен петь!" ) Голос гармонирует даже с внешним обликом Бэнкса - он всегда такой спокойный, интеллигентный, сосредоточенный.)

Что сразу обращает на себя внимание уже на характерном однострунном тремольном риффе, что встречал нас и на предыдущем альбоме, и вот здесь - более резкий и шершавый звук гитар, более холодный и не такой насыщенный низами, нежели на "Noregs Vaapen". Короче, более блэковый, хотя, казалось бы, куда еще... Вокал фирменный, с нотками истеричности - периодически встречаются беглые хоровые распевки и кличи в одиночном исполнении Хёста. Короче, ну настолько все в духе предыдущего творчества и духа истинного норвежского черного метала - негде развернуться в объяснениях.

"Spiegel" (English: "Mirror") is a 2005 song by German pop-rap girl group Tic Tac Toe. It was released as their comeback single in December 2005, after a five-year hiatus. The song met with commercial success and was a top 10 hit in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It later appeared on their fourth and final album Comeback.

William Ruhlmann of AllMusic described the compilation as an "excellent sampler", adding: "The sequencing pays no attention to chronology, [but] despite this, Scott's impassioned singing holds things together better than might be expected, and the effect is not unlike a good Waterboys concert." The 2000 book The Mojo Collection: The Ultimate Music Companion described the album as a "useful compilation" which "also rounds up some of Scott's stripped-down solo work".

Monk's Dream is an album by jazz pianist Thelonious Monk that was released by Columbia Records in March 1963. It was Monk's first album for Columbia following his five-year recording period with Riverside Records.

"Zero" is a song by American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins. It was the third single from their third album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. "Zero" was written by Billy Corgan and was the first song recorded for Mellon Collie. The song has six rhythm guitars, with two line-in twelve string acoustics. Commercially, "Zero" reached number one in Spain and number three in New Zealand. In North America, the song reached number one on Canada's RPM Alternative 30, number 15 on the US Mainstream Rock chart, and number nine on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart. In the United States, the song was released as an EP, so it instead charted on the Billboard 200, making it to number 46.
