The Ghost was the third and full-length album released via Locomotive Music (26 March 2006). Before The Dawn was again a solo project; Tuomas had disbanded the old line-up in late 2005 and recorded all instruments on this album himself. Some session musicians of his new "live assault team" make guest appearances: The Norwegian Lars Eikind (clean vocals) and the guitarist Juho Räihä (solo on "Disappear" and "Scar") - both would become permanent band members. Because of the huge amount of new song material, Saukkonen created another album, "The Darkness" for Dawn of Solace, Lars and Juho also play on this album.

During the recording sessions of this album in early 2008, the band had to cope with yet another line-up change – once again, the drum-seat would become vacant. The core crew of Before The Dawn (Tuomas, Lars, Juho) remained focused and only took some time off from studio to play at summer festivals (e.g. famous Wacken Open Air in Germany), mainly with the aid of session drummer Matti Auerkallio, later replaced by Agonizer's Atte Palokangas. In summer 2009 Atte became official band member.
The fifth studio album "Soundscape of Silence", released 31 October 2008, received once again praise and high ratings by European Metal press, e.g. German RockHard Magazine. Nicely timed with the band's 10th anniversary, Before The Dawn accompanied Amorphis on their Forging Europe Tour in autumn 2009; in 2010 they played more club and festival shows all over Europe and also visited Asia (China and Japan in May, Russia in September).

My Darkness, the first full-length album by Before The Dawn, was released 23 March 2003 via Locomotive Music and features the first continuous band line up: Tuomas – guitar and growls, Panu Willman – guitar & clean vocals, Mika Ojala – keyboards, drummer Dani Miettinen and bass player Toni Broman. "Unbreakable", "Take My Pain", "Undone" and "Alone" are the 4 songs from the previous unreleased EP, but the titular song received most of the attention and was also included in the "Dynamite" compilation #35 CD of German "Rock Hard" magazine. This track remains the "evergreen" in the Before The Dawn live repertoire to this day.

Второй альбом Before The Dawn вышел спустя ровно 14 месяцев с момента выхода первенца. За год музыка коллектива претерпела определенные изменения, но кардинально свое звучание команда не поменяла - перед нами все тот же удивительно удачный сплав готик-металла а-ля поздний Darkseed или, что для этого альбома более характерно, поздняя Katatonia (особенно ярко это проявилось в связке “Fade Away”/“Crush”/”Into You”) и мелодик-дэт с удивительно красивыми и запоминающимися мелодиями. Материал заметно прибавил в размеренности и, соответственно, потерял в скорости, однако за счет большего внимания к деталям и к небольшой электронной составляющей, которая не довлеет, а лишь создает определенный настрой, заметно выиграл в атмосферности. Партий чистого вокала стало больше, гроул лишь оттеняет главную партию, но это идет альбому “4:17” только на пользу и настраивает, простите за банальность, на философский лад.

The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan is the second studio album by the American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan. It was released on May 27, 1963, through Columbia Records. The record marks the beginning of Dylan's writing contemporary lyrics to traditional melodies. His debut album Bob Dylan contains only two original songs, whereas eleven of the thirteen songs on Freewheelin' are Dylan's compositions. It opens with "Blowin' in the Wind", which became an anthem of the 1960s, and an international hit for folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary soon after the release of the album.

"Love and Theft" è il trentunesimo album in studio del cantautore statunitense Bob Dylan, venne pubblicato dalla Columbia Records l'11 settembre del 2001.
L'album continua il periodo di rinascita artistica di Dylan iniziato nel 1997 con il disco Time Out of Mind, e ricevette recensioni ancora più entusiaste da parte di quasi tutta la critica musicale. È il primo lavoro prodotto dallo stesso Bob Dylan utilizzando lo pseudonimo "Jack Frost" che in seguito utilizzerà anche per i dischi seguenti. Про новый альбом Scriptures можно сказать, что это однозначно хороший материал. Помимо уже упоминаемой Progenitors, можно выделить и сингловые Rabid Carnality, Stormcrow, а так же Scriptures in Scarlet и In Our Hands, the Scars. Конечно, не тотальный шедевр, ибо вокруг явно не те времена, чтобы появлялись бoгoявлeнныe нeтлeнки, но очевидно очень качественная работа. Саунд представлен классическим death metal, в котором нет никаких примесей – это абсолютно цельнометаллический мегалит cмepти.

Музыкально - это среднетемповое сочететание дум-дэт, викинг-паган и металлических риффов, в духе Hollenthon. Добавим к этому большое количество клавишных пассажей, несколько различных фолковых интсрументов. Три вокала - один мужской гроулинг, второй чистый мужской и довольно приятный женский. Очень интересные мелодии, меняющийся по несколкьо раз на песне ритм, от мелодичного фолка до мощного напора гитар, создают действительно атмосферу фэнтези-викинг сцен. Отмечу, что вся лирика базируется на Толкиене, соответственно, и общая направленность альбома такая-же., вплоть до оформелния диска и имиджа самих музыкантов.

В целом нормально, поклонникам Бегемотов рекомендую, за счет разбавления классикой диск слушается даже легче и конечно разнообразней, чем "The Apostasy", который совсем уж сухой и безжизненный.Для ЕРшника нормально, но альбома нового все-таки хочется

Рано или поздно это случается с 90 процентами групп-долгожителей. Наступает момент, когда все твои старые хиты и заслуги перестают радовать, и начинает смертельно хотеться чего-то нового. И тогда на свет рождаются самые неожиданные гибриды, в которых «старое» смешивается с «новым» в головокружительных пропорциях. Относиться к таким экспериментам можно по-разному, но лично для меня диски вроде “Free” всегда были интересной возможностью взглянуть на музыкантов с другой стороны, оценить их мелодические и композиторские таланты не в контексте хорошо знакомого стиля и звучания, а как бы в отрыве от того, что для данного коллектива или музыканта считается нормой.

Mary Griffin and Taj Mahal combine their vocal and guitar talents on 'Paying The Cost To Be The Boss'. ... I just had the opportunity to review the most recent release, The Soul of the King, from The BB King Blues Band and the title hits the nail on the head.
