Cross Road is the first greatest hits album by American rock band Bon Jovi, released on October 13, 1994 by Mercury Records. The album contains hits from between Bon Jovi (1984) and Keep the Faith (1992) and two new tracks: the hit singles "Always" and "Someday I'll Be Saturday Night", as well as a new, updated rendition of "Livin' on a Prayer" entitled "Prayer '94" available only on the North American versions. "Runaway" was never recorded with the current band, though at that time there were plans to put a "Runaway '94" on the album but it was never recorded. The diner located on the cover of the album is the Roadside Diner in Wall Township, NJ, near the crossroads of Route 33 and Route 34.

Oceans of Fantasy is the fourth studio album by Boney M. Released in September 1979, Oceans Of Fantasy became the second Boney M. album to top the UK charts and features hits El Lute / Gotta Go Home and I'm Born Again / Bahama Mama.
The album had been preceded in the spring of 1979 by the single "Hooray! Hooray! It's a Holi-Holiday" (based on American folksong Polly Wolly Doodle), one of the band's biggest hits. This was not included on Oceans of Fantasy but the B-side, "Ribbons of Blue" was, albeit in a heavily edited form. The original length of the track is 4:02 and songs like "Gotta Go Home" and "Bahama Mama" were also longer on 7" than on the actual album. As with the group's previous album, Nightflight to Venus, the original Hansa Records pressings of the album also included a range of different edits of certain tracks.

Широкой дэтовой души работа: материал исполнен крупными небрежными мазками, без внимания к деталям, с панковским душком. Ритм-секция – размашистая, с ощутимыми прорехами, полагающаяся только на невероятно низкий строй гитар. Темп чаще всего средний, лишь изредка возвращающийся к заторможенным изыскам 1991-1992 гг. Жужжащие простые риффы, слегка знакомые по скандинавскому «смертельному» металу старой школы. Они неповоротливые и неуклюжие, словно массивные каменные блоки, угрожающе елозящие под солидной тяжестью.

Немецкие сталевары Black Abyss существуют с начала девяностых годов, но до сих пор так и не смогли никого удивить шедевром. Привлекла меня их последняя пластинка «Angels Wear Black» по той причине, что позиционировалась она как нечто необходимое в дискографии каждого поклонника жёсткого пауэра. Что ж, ребята не разочаровали, но и не слишком то обрадовали. Исполняет группа действительно жёсткий пауэр хеви с закосом в энгри пауэр. Особенно на общем фоне выделяется вокал. Вокалист обладает вокальными данными поразительными по своей схожести с Мэтью Барлоу (ex-Iced Earth). Все признаки на лицо – здесь можно встретить и чистый красивый голос и грубый хрип, и всё это будет каждый раз напоминать вам о легендах пауэр-треша Iced Earth, правда по части техники ребятам из Black Abyss ой как далеко до Замороженной Земли – играют они просто и не заморачиваясь по этому поводу – то Пристов вспомнили, то Мэйденам честь отдали, но особенно музыка похожа на немецких собратьев Rebellion и самых ярких представителей энгри пауэра Brainstorm.

Классический во всех проявлениях альбом. Стандартный, но качественный power metal. Сольные номера выполнены на самую высокую оценку, вокал своевременен, барабанный бой не вырывается из-за "спин" гитаристов, а звучит очень пластично во всех композициях. Из них довольно сложно выделить что-то особенно "хитовое", каждому любителю пауэра придётся по вкусу три-четыре разные мелодии. Сравнить Black Majesty можно с немцами из Angel Dust, но австралийцы более прогрессивны и не так мрачны по общей атмосфере альбома, и к тому же в композиции вложено больше холодной чувственности. Это творение стоит держать у себя в фонотеке, потому что работа действительно стоящая.
