A stylistically diverse album, Boz Scaggs incorporates several genres, including Americana, blue-eyed soul, country, and rhythm and blues. The lyrics are about typical themes found in blues songs, such as love, regret, guilt, and loss. Scaggs recorded the album at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio with producer Jann Wenner, the co-founder of Rolling Stone magazine. The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section heavily contributed to the album, which included a young Duane Allman, before his rise to fame with the Allman Brothers Band.

Дух андеграунда ещё жив! Очень порадовало качество записи, это одна из немногих попадавшихся мне в последнее время блэк металических работ, в которой абсолютно четко и ясно прослушивается бас гитара. В плане музыки сравнить особо и не с чем ибо команд подобного уровня в Европе легионы, иногда чем-то напоминает Darkthrone и Carpathian Forest. В общем - очень хорошая и достойная работа на уровне грандов жанра.

В начале ноября 2010 года компания Sepulchral Productions издаёт четвёртый альбом Borgne - "Entraves de l'Âme". После выхода релиза Ormenos решает, что нужно заниматься не только студийной работой, но и концертной деятельностью.Так, к 2011 году набирается сессионный состав Borgne для концертных выступлений. Новыми участниками на период выступлений стали: Ardelean (гитара), XaX (гитара), Quaoar (бас-гитара) и Lady Kaos (клавишные), ударные и вокальные партии остались за Ormenos.

Единственным, кто не вызывает никаких нареканий, является Мел Причард. Но его вклад в композицию и аранжировку, мягко выражаясь, не всегда существеннен. Джон Лис, хоть и подрастерял навыки написания по-настоящему сильных вещей хотя бы в духе "Child Of The Universe" или "The Closed Shop", и уже давно не выдавал хоть сколько-нибудь значимых гитарных соло, но все же совершенствует свои вокальные навыки (и не без успеха), да и его тексты, если не брать во внимание их религиозный подтекст, очень даже недурны. А вот Холройд после альбома "XII" стал откровенно халтурить и тянуть группу вниз, забивая альбом за альбомом своей третьесортной однообразной попсой. Добавьте ко всему этому наметившуюся еще на предыдущем диске его тенденцию к пению а-ля Би Джиз, а также безобразную лирику. Да и как басист Холройд тоже стал явно регрессировать, все больше уделяя внимания программируемым синтезаторам. Такая, вот, картина.

Вообще-то у меня были смешанные чувства, когда я отдавал деньги и брал в руки диск в красивой картонной обложке. Купить я хотел совершенно другое. Но придя домой, я погрузился в океан музыки подогреваемый отличным голосом Vintersorg'а. За новостями группы я как-то не следил после выхода альбома Empiricism. Если судить о истории движения, то можно сказать, что альбом является продолжателем все того же Empiricism. Да, Йенса Рюланда ушел, хоть он был в группе долгое время, но в группу пришла такая личность как Vintersorg.Диск легко слушать с первого раза, чистый вокал перемежается с гролом. Лирика приобрела какой-то метафизический, что ли оттенок? Скорее всего это связано с приходом в группу того же Vintersorg'а.

It is composed entirely of traditional folk songs and covers, and is Dylan's first entirely solo, acoustic album since Another Side of Bob Dylan in 1964. It is also his first collection not to feature any original compositions since Dylan in 1973.
On the charts, Good as I Been to You reached No. 51 in the US and No. 18 in the UK, and helped to restore Dylan's critical standing following the disappointing Under the Red Sky. The album's highest chart position worldwide was in Norway, where it peaked at No. 11.
