Under Cover is the ninth studio album by English heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. The album consists entirely of cover songs, with an emphasis on rock music from the 1960s and 1970s. This is Osbourne's first and only album to feature cover songs from various artists, although in 1982, Osbourne had released the live album Speak of the Devil featuring renditions of songs from his time with Black Sabbath. All but 4 songs were originally released in the box set Prince of Darkness, released earlier the same year. The additional songs are "Rocky Mountain Way", "Sunshine of Your Love", "Woman" and "Go Now". Whilst he cites The Beatles as his favourite band, his favourite song of all time is Procol Harum's "A Whiter Shade of Pale". He had wished to cover this song but was advised against it since it had recently been covered by a "close musical associate" (then-former guitarist Zakk Wylde covered the song with his band Black Label Society on their 2004 album Hangover Music Vol. VI).

Al igual que en su anterior disco, Bark at the Moon, el guitarrista es Jake E. Lee, proveniente de las bandas Ratt y Rough Cutt. El bajista fue Phil Soussan, quien coescribió el exitoso sencillo "Shot in the Dark". Fue el primer disco de Osbourne donde participó el batería Randy Castillo, que moriría de cáncer años después. The Essential Ozzy Osbourne is a compilation album by British heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne, released in 2003. It reached No. 81 on US charts and No. 21 in the UK. Tracks featured here from the first two albums are the re-recorded versions from recent reissues (see Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman) as well as the remixed Bark at the Moon tracks. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA on 5 February 2005 with an excess of 500,000 copies sold, then certified Platinum by the RIAA on 3 March 2016.

The album was originally to have been titled Soul Sucka, but this was changed before release to Scream after fans voiced their objections. It is Osbourne's only album to feature guitarist Gus G, who replaced long-term guitarist Zakk Wylde. The drums on the album were recorded by Kevin Churko, though Tommy Clufetos was credited, as he was touring with Osbourne's band at the time. Scream is also the first release to feature keyboardist Adam Wakeman, who had worked with Osbourne as a touring musician since 2004. The lead single released from the album was "Let Me Hear You Scream", which peaked at number 6 on the American Rock Songs chart. It is Osbourne's first album since 1986's The Ultimate Sin to use his classic logo on the cover art.
